Description
Filodivino's “Ali 2.0” is a dry frizzante rosé, refermented in the bottle. Made exclusively from Lacrima grapes, it is an original sparkling wine unlike the usual: immediate, fun and able to release all the power and aromas of Lacrima in the glass. This label, too, reflects the winery's experimental approach, highlighting the versatility of the varieties growing on its hills. The estate, founded just a few years ago in San Marcello, farms its vineyards according to organic principles. The soils consist mainly of calcareous clay and sand, a composition typical of the area, which is characterised by winters that are not too cold and often dry summers. The harvest, always by hand, is brought slightly forward to retain all the necessary freshness and acidity. After picking, the grapes are destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for around six months in steel tanks on its fine lees before the second fermentation in the bottle, triggered by adding must and yeasts. Neither filtered nor disgorged, it is sold with its sediment and is slightly cloudy. In the glass it shows an inviting pink colour, tending towards red in some vintages; on the nose it opens with aromas of rose and fresh red berries, while on the palate it is juicy and crisp, supported by bright acidity and a pleasant fullness with a fine, clean bead. The finish is fresh and invites another sip. A very versatile wine, it works well as an aperitif and with any dish, and is also recommended with pizza.
