Abruzzo
Abruzzo, bordering Marche to the north and also on the Adriatic coast of central Italy, is a wine-producing region renowned for producing high-quality wines that reflect the wild and unspoilt beauty of its territory. The Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, a dry and fresh white wine known for its versatility and its floral and fruity notes, is another excellent product of the region. The region also produces Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, a rosé wine made from the same Montepulciano grapes, with a bright colour and notes of cherry and fresh fruit.
