Description
The 'Trezero' three-bottle case from the winery of the same name conveys the sustainable and innovative philosophy of the Trezero winery, where 'three' refers to the creators of the project and 'zero' to the environmental impact they aim to achieve. All the wines in the range are produced from Piwi vines, varieties resistant to fungal diseases that allow for a drastic reduction in chemical treatments, mechanical processing and CO₂ emissions.
Tholus is a still white wine made from Soreli grapes grown in the loamy-clay soils of the Friuli Grave DOC. In the glass, it is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections; the nose is dominated by floral notes of wisteria and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, minerality and vibrant freshness stand out, perfect with light cold cuts and prosciutto.
Arsia, a rosé made from 100% Merlot Khorus, is the result of a cutting-edge winemaking vision. Pale and bright pink in colour, it expresses aromas of wild strawberries, pomegranate and sweet spices. The palate is fresh and savoury, with a harmonious and persistent finish: ideal for aperitifs and Mediterranean cuisine.
Olympus, the winery's only red wine, is also made from Merlot Khorus, a Piwi variety developed by the University of Udine. Bright ruby red with violet reflections, it has aromas of morello cherry, blackcurrant, cocoa and light herbaceous notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, fruity and dynamic, with lively tannins and a persistent finish. A box that combines innovation, sustainability and Friulian identity in three modern and authentic labels.
