Description
This traditional cooking course offers an immersive experience, allowing you to discover the flavours and gastronomic traditions of Abruzzo first-hand.
With direct guest involvement, the course includes preparing two typical recipes: an appetiser or main course, followed by a first course of fresh, handmade pasta.
Specialities that can be made include the famous pallotte cace e ove (cheese and egg balls) and stuffed aubergines, followed by traditional pasta shapes such as sagne appezzate, cavatelli and pasta alla chitarra.
The course is led by true masters of traditional cuisine: 'old-school ladies', as there are no longer any experts for certain preparations.
The aim is to showcase the authenticity of the recipes with genuine dishes that can easily be recreated at home.
After the course, guests can enjoy a three-course lunch accompanied by a tasting of three wines from the cellar. The experience also includes a visit to the cellars and vineyards.
