DescriptionBossanova's 'Unrouge' is a light red wine made from a blend of the local Montepulciano grape and the famous international Merlot. A playful and fun label with crisp red fruit aromas. The sip is fresh and thirst-quenching, easy to drink, one of those bottles that hardly stays full once uncorked, we could call it 'grape juice'! The Bossanova winery was born in Abruzzo in 2018, from Andrea and Nat's shared desire to make wine, to recover, protect and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the Teramo hills, where olive groves and vineyards lie halfway between the white snow of the Gran Sasso peaks and the turquoise of the Adriatic Sea. The special microclimate of this area, combined with the biodynamic approach to cultivation, allows the vines to flourish and produce healthy, high quality grapes at harvest time. The grapes for 'Unrouge' come from a single plot of land characterised by predominantly clayey soils. The rows of Merlot are planted between those of Montepulciano and Trebbiano, at an altitude of about 250 metres above sea level. After harvesting, which is done by hand, the grapes are taken to the cellar where they are destemmed and gently pressed before spontaneous fermentation in cement vats, without maceration, in order to extract little colour from the skins and obtain a light red colour. This is followed by a short ageing period, also in cement vats, before being released. This blend of Montepulciano and Merlot is light and bright red in colour, with a bouquet of red fruits accompanied by light balsamic notes of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is lively and supple, with soft and light tannins, pleasantly fruity with a juicy and moderately persistent finish. It is a wine to be drunk in its youth, with pizza, fish hors d'oeuvres, white meat or vegetable risottos.

DescriptionBossanova's 'Swing' is a lightly macerated white wine made from 100% Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grapes. Fresh and ready to drink, with an agile and lively sip, a white wine with delicate tannins and a satisfying finish, with intense aromas of ripe fruit. The name on the label can be defined as a tribute to the famous musical genre, a link between music and wine that is always alive in the winery, thanks also to the passion of Andrea, owner together with Nat, for both arts, that of making music and that of making wine. The grapes come from vines that are almost 20 years old, planted in the hills of Teramane, in the municipality of Controguerra, at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level, where the soil is mainly clayey. The proximity of the sea influences the growth of the vines and the quality of the grapes, which are harvested by hand. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before being transferred to cement vats for spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts. The must ferments in maceration with the skins for 8-10 days. The wine is golden yellow in colour, fresh, easy to drink, dynamic and mineral on the palate, with a long and balanced aftertaste. On the nose, notes of ripe, yellow-fleshed fruit are enriched by a not-too-obtrusive herbaceous note, with an aromatic herbaceous finish. It goes very well with fish dishes, both first and second courses, vegetable dishes or fresh cheeses.

DescriptionCapsule Two sparkling wine is a pet nat, an Italian term derived from the abbreviation of petillant naturel, which in French means naturally sparkling. A refreshing label, this one from Bossanova, with a savoury, thirst-quenching sip, accompanied by aromas of crisp fruit such as peaches and apricots, and light notes of vanilla. This sparkling white wine is made from three indigenous Abruzzo grape varieties, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Montonico and Cococciola, cultivated on a single parcel of land in the hills of the province of Teramo, in the town of Controguerra, using biodynamic farming methods and no chemicals or synthetic substances. The vines are about 40 years old and show Nat and Andrea's commitment to the continuous search for old vines to recover for the enhancement of the territory. The grapes are harvested by hand and processed in the cellar by destemming and soft pressing. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in cement vats, the same vats used for the short ageing. The "Capsule Two" wine is bottled with the addition of Trebbiano must, which has been frozen since the harvest, in order to allow spontaneous refermentation in the bottle, which gives it its slight effervescence. In the glass, it has a bright straw-yellow colour, with a slight haze and background presence; the bouquet expresses fruity notes of yellow-fleshed fruit, combined with hints of white flowers and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is light and lively, with a savoury, almost salty taste, with good acidity and citrus returns. It is a wine to be drunk in carefree moments, in the company of friends and with fish dishes, from starters to fried foods, it also goes well with risottos and cheeses.
