Description

The three-bottle case "Rossi Quirinus" from the St. Quirinus winery brings together three reds that best represent Micheal Sinn's production philosophy: "Bergwerk", "Badl" and "Merlot". These wines differ in character and structure, but share their South Tyrolean origin, organic approach and promotion of the area around Lake Caldaro.

The 'Bergwerk' wine is produced from Schiava Grigia and Schiava grapes, two native South Tyrolean varieties whose German name 'Vernatsch' means 'indigenous'. This fresh red wine is crisp and easy to drink, delighting the nose with aromas of ripe red berries, cherries and raspberries, ending with a delicate hint of bitter almonds.

'Badl' is a pure Lagrein, an ancient grape variety and symbol of the region. Full-bodied, rustic and fruity, it comes from the south-facing vineyards of Feld and Lago. In the glass, it is an intense garnet red with violet reflections; on the nose, it offers aromas of blackberry, plum and cocoa, while on the palate it is velvety, enveloping and perfectly balanced.

The selection is completed by the St. Quirinus Merlot, an elegant red wine aged in wood, characterised by the full body and roundness typical of the grape variety. It offers notes of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and vanilla, with integrated tannins and harmonious acidity that balances its persistence.
