Description
The 'Perle delle Marche' three-bottle case from the Podere Santa Lucia winery contains three labels: Verdicchio Classico Pellegrino, Lacrima di Morro d'Alba and Rosato IGT Marche.
Verdicchio Classico 'Pellegrino' is an extremely typical example, masterfully vinified in stainless steel. Young and fresh, crisp and agile, it faithfully represents the characteristics of the Verdicchio grape variety, with aromas of peach and pineapple, freshness and a bitter finish of great personality. The grapes, grown in Montecarotto on clayey-sandy soils, are harvested by hand and vinified according to the principles of organic cultivation.
Lacrima di Morro d'Alba perfectly embodies the authenticity of this native Marche grape variety, which has ancient origins. Vinified and aged in stainless steel, it releases notes of rose petals and violets combined with aromas of ripe red fruits. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with enveloping tannins and lively freshness.
Rosato IGT Marche is an alternative expression of the queen of the territory, the Lacrima grape. Light, fresh and fragrant, it symbolises the history and versatility of the grape variety. The nose is fine and elegant, with floral and green apple notes; on the palate it is fresh and mineral, perfect with fish dishes, sushi and Mediterranean cuisine.
