Description

Reboro combines the craftsmanship of an age-old tradition with the enthusiasm of a collective project born of the friendship of the winegrowers of the Valle dei Laghi. This red wine of absolute excellence is the result of a deep passion for the land and for the indigenous Reboro variety, born in 1920, a jewel that has inherited the best of the cross between Merlot and Teroldego. In the best vineyards of the Pisoni estate, cultivated with the Guyot method on calcareous soils, the grapes of Rebo are carefully harvested and left to dry until November on the traditional trellises known as "arele" in the local dialect. The intense aromas of ripe red fruit and jam are an invitation to discover every facet of this extraordinary creation. After drying for 2 months, the grapes are crushed, destemmed and left to macerate with their skins for 40 days in steel vats with selected yeasts. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 36 months, adding complexity and elegance to the aromatic profile. Reboro has a great structure, also thanks to the composition of the soil, a full and enveloping taste that gives a soft sip of long persistence. Each bottle is a precious jewel to be proud of, carrying on the legacy of this land rich in history and tradition.
