Description
The "Selezione Chianti" three-bottle case from Lecci e Brocchi represents the truest essence of Tuscan tradition through three interpretations of Sangiovese: Ragonaia, Chiorba Riserva and Gran Selezione.
Chianti Classico Ragonaia is a pure Sangiovese with a traditional and decisive character. Vinified in open tonneaux and aged for 12 months in barriques, it is distinguished by its ruby colour and intense aromas of red fruits and violets. On the palate it is full-bodied, savoury and persistent, with a fruity and pleasantly acidic finish.
The Chianti Classico Riserva "Chiorba", dedicated to Vasco, founder of the winery, is made from Sangiovese with small percentages of Canaiolo and Colorino. After 24 months in large barrels, it offers aromas of cherries in alcohol, spices and tobacco, with velvety tannins and a harmonious, mature taste.
The Gran Selezione is the winery's highest expression of quality: a Sangiovese selected from the best vineyards, aged for 36 months in tonneaux. Elegant and complex, it releases aromas of cherry, violet and oak, with an intense, round and persistent taste.

Chianti Classico "Ragonaia" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
Lecci e Brocchi's Chianti Classico 'Ragonaia' is a typical and balanced expression of the Sangiovese grape variety, vinified in the Chianti area and produced according to organic and environmentally friendly methods. With its traditional and resolute character, this label is fresh and lively thanks to its savoury notes, enriched by the scents of red fruits, which invite you to drink it. Ragonaia is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the Chianti Classico DOC zone, on mineral-rich soil that is ideal for vine cultivation. The grapes are harvested by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October and vinified in vertically open tonneaux. During the alcoholic fermentation, carried out by indigenous yeasts, the skins, together with the must, are periodically soaked and watered by manual punching down. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in second passage barriques. This wine is ruby red in colour, with intense notes of red fruit in harmony with the violet aromas characteristic of Sangiovese. On the palate, it is full and persistent, with tannins that are lively and well present, due to its youth, but never too invasive. The finish is savoury, with a slight acidity that is balanced by a very pleasant fruity aftertaste. It is a perfect accompaniment to all red meats and also finds a harmonious balance with fresh and semi-cured cheeses, offering an ideal gastronomic versatility to satisfy different palates.Read More

Chianti Classico riserva "Il Chiorba" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
Lecci e Brocchi's Chianti Classico Riserva 'Chiorba' is dedicated to Vasco, the founder of the company and the father of Sabrina, the current owner. It was Vasco who, with vision and wisdom, planted the first vines in what he considered to be the most suitable land for growing grapes, thus creating a winemaking tradition that is still flourishing today. The Sangiovese grape is the undisputed protagonist of this Chianti Riserva, flanked in small quantities by Canaiolo Nero and Colorino, two native Tuscan grape varieties that add colour and structure. The winery and vineyards are located in the southern part of the Chianti Classico area, near the famous city of Siena, on a hill at about 420 metres above sea level. This is a very rare and special terroir, capable of giving the wine a wealth of aromas both in the mouth and on the palate, where they are even more exalted. Harvesting, which is always done by hand, takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October, while vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with a maceration period of about 30 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in cement vats before ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels for about 24 months. The colour is ruby red with light garnet reflections; the bouquet is fruity, with notes of cherry undergrowth and distinct nuances of spices and tobacco, accompanied by sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate, the tannins are velvety and expressive, soft and ripe, with a good balance between the different components. This Chianti Classico Riserva is perfect with succulent roast meats and even very mature cheeses.Read More
