Three bottle pack “Primitivo”

Description

The 'Primitivo' three-bottle case from the Vinicola Cicella winery contains the Primitivo del Salento label, vinified with pure grapes of the same name. Aged in stainless steel, it is a young, fresh and pleasant wine, ideal for convivial moments. On the palate it is balanced, soft and smooth, with an intense flavour and a persistent finish. The grapes come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Maruggio, Lizzano and Torricella, historic areas renowned for the production of wines with great structure and aromatic richness. The vines, trained using the alberello method, are harvested in the first ten days of September. After destemming, the must ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks, remaining in contact with the skins. After 12 months of ageing in stainless steel, the wine has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals complex aromas of blackberries and plums, while the palate offers a smooth and harmonious taste. Perfect with robust first courses, red meats, game and mature cheeses, it is an authentic expression of the character and elegance of the grape varieties of southern Italy.
