Description

"Teroldego is not only a prince of Trentino tradition, it is also a grape variety rich in anthocyanins, the natural antioxidants responsible for the red colour of the grapes and consequently of the wine. It is precisely for these characteristics that Teroldego was chosen by the Pisoni winery to produce this wine without the addition of sulphites. A quality wine, pure and respectful of the identity of the territory: tradition and innovation meet. The vines are cultivated using the renowned Pergola Trentina system, following the principles of the lunar calendar and using organic substances such as compost. The plot is called Maso Gobbo, hence the name of the Gobbo red wine, and is characterised by sandy soils. The production process begins with gentle crushing and destemming of the grapes, followed by fermentation with selected yeasts and maceration in stainless steel vats for about 30 days. This wine is characterised by the absence of sulphites. Matured for six months exclusively in steel, it enhances the intense aromas of wild berries, strawberries and sour cherries, giving the wine a fresh and immediate drinkability. The tasting reveals a particularly soft, fresh and fruity character, dominated by an enveloping presence of strawberry, with a persistence that invites sip after sip. In Trentino, where culinary tradition is of paramount importance, 'Gobbo Rosso' is the ideal accompaniment to a classic country snack, enriched with artisan short-aged salami such as luganega or a soft fat cheese such as casolét.
