Three bottle pack “De Vigili classics”

Description

The three-bottle case "I classici De Vigili" includes the Chardonnay "Terre Bianche", the Teroldego "Tonalite" and the Teroldego Rotaliano Superiore Riserva "Ottavio".

The Chardonnay Terre Bianche comes from the Colline dei Sorni in Lavis, from vines that are about 40 years old, trained using the double Trentino pergola method. After manual harvesting and soft pressing, half of the wine fermented in stainless steel and half in third-use barriques, with six months of ageing on the lees. In the glass, it is bright yellow, with aromas of tropical fruit, vanilla and shortcrust pastry; the palate is enveloping, savoury and mineral, ideal with first courses and fish.

Teroldego Tonalite comes from the Pasquari vineyard in Piana Rotaliana. After maceration for 8-10 days and ageing in small oak barrels for 10 months plus 6 months in the bottle, it is intense red in colour with aromas of red fruits, peppery notes and floral finishes. Fresh, smooth and persistent, it accompanies roasts, red meats and cheeses.

Teroldego Riserva "Ottavio" comes from ancient vines in the Pasquari cru. It ferments in tonneaux and ages for 18 months in barriques, followed by a year in the bottle. Garnet red in colour, with a bouquet of ripe red fruits and subtle spices, it is fruity and elegant on the palate, with silky tannins. Perfect with game and red meats.
