The term 'Alemat', taken from the dialect, means 'he is crazy', a declaration of love for the arduous path in the world of wine, undertaken with passion and a pinch of audacity. Taking on this challenge is a "madman's undertaking", but a little madness enriches life and makes dreams come true.

But Alemat is not just a bold idea; it is also a tribute to Alessandro and Matteo, the children of Savio and Elisabetta, the founders, whose initials are in the name itself. Family is the foundation on which the company is built, and the support of their children drives them to look forward with hope and determination.

At Alemat they call themselves 'winegrowers by choice', with no claim to ancestral nobility, but with pride in their commitment and respect for the land. The quality of the wine comes from the loving care of the vines, which are grown according to organic principles, respecting the environment and adopting sustainable farming practices to minimise human impact.

To reduce the environmental footprint, investments have been made in sustainable energy, equipping the winery and the house with photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. This choice makes it possible to produce clean energy, helping to preserve the environment and reduce CO2 emissions.

Even in packaging, eco-friendly solutions are favoured, replacing plastic with cardboard boxes equipped with interlocking closures.
