Farm Visit with Sensory Tasting in the Cellar - Podere Conca

The tour starts with a walk through the vineyard next to the estate, where you will learn about the methods of cultivating vines according to the principles of organic farming. As you walk among the vines, you will learn about the characteristics of the territory, the farm's production philosophy, and the agronomic practices that accompany the growth of the grapes. Next, you will travel to the winery, located about 10 minutes by car from the farm, where you will learn about the processes of vinification and ageing of the wines. The tasting also includes an olfactory and sensory analysis session: a practical exercise designed to refine your ability to recognise and remember the scents of herbs and fruits and to learn to associate them with the aromas present in wines. Inside the cellar, there is a guided tasting of four wines:

•       Elleboro DOC Bolgheri Bianco

•       196 IGT Costa Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon

•       Agapanto DOC Bolgheri Rosso

A fourth wine will be tasted directly from the barrel.

The tasting will be accompanied by samples of typical Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, as well as crostini with organic extra virgin olive oil produced on the estate.
