Description

The 'Colori di Bolgheri' three-bottle case from the Podere Conca winery contains three labels: Apistós, Agapanto and Elleboro.

Apistós, made exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes, is the winery's flagship label. Its name, in ancient Greek, means 'incredible' and symbolises the charm of what goes beyond reality. The grapes, grown on red sand and clay soils adjacent to the estate, produce a complex and profound wine. In the glass, it expresses notes of aromatic herbs and green pepper, lively and structured, with a long and persistent finish.

Agapanto, Bolgheri Rosso DOC, is a poetic tribute to the South African flower from which it takes its name. Produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Ciliegiolo grapes, it is grown on sandy, mineral-rich soils. The nose offers fresh aromas of red fruits, while the palate is harmonious, with a fresh attack and pleasant persistence.

Elleboro, Podere Conca's only white wine, is a tribute to the Christmas rose. Made from Viognier grapes with small percentages of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, it surprises with aromas of peach and apricot, a full and fresh taste, supported by acidity and sapidity.
