Description

Codecce, the result of years of dedication and oenological research on the part of the Pisoni family, is an excellent wine obtained thanks to an innovative vinification method that eliminates the use of sulphites while maintaining the wine's exceptional quality. The name of the wine itself is a tribute to the vineyard of the same name on the San Siro hill, characterised by calcareous soils, ideal for the cultivation of white grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Goldtraminer and Nosiola, which make up this blend. Codecce is an authentic expression of the Valle dei Laghi, an Alpine region characterised by a unique Mediterranean climate that allows the grapes to reach the perfect degree of ripeness and aromatic concentration. The manual harvesting of the grapes precedes all the processes that take place in the winery: first the berries are destemmed and then subjected to a soft pressing to extract the must. With the addition of selected yeasts, fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for six months, also in steel vats, and is characterised by its full, ripe and exotic aromas, typical of the aromatic varieties from which it is made, which evoke enveloping sensations. On the palate, it offers a harmonious combination of softness and freshness, with a pleasant crispness that makes it irresistible. The deep colour of Codecce, with green reflections, anticipates the sensory experience to come. The intense aromas of apple and exotic fruits underline the complexity of the wine. Codecce goes well with the authenticity of Italian tradition, welcoming the company of fresh cheeses such as mozzarella di bufala, burrata and stracciatella. Its versatility is also expressed with grilled vegetables.
