Description

Annada comes from the union of the names of the second sons of Stefano and Marco, Anna and Davide. It is characterised by the use of the best bunches of Nosiola grapes, the only white grape variety native to Trentino, whose name seems to derive from the hazelnut notes present in the wine; in dialect the term "nocciola" means "nosela". The vineyards are located on the San Siro hill, in an area of sandy and silty soil, and are cultivated using the Guyot method, in accordance with the organic method, and are exposed to the sun, caressed by the daily breezes of the picturesque Valle dei Laghi, which give the grapes a characteristic note of ripe fruit and freshness. After a meticulous manual harvest, the Nosiola grapes are carefully destemmed and gently pressed at the ideal moment of ripeness. The must is fermented with selected yeasts in acacia tonneaux. The wine remains in acacia barrels for a further 12 months before being released. The fermentation and refinement in wood give the wine an intense straw-yellow colour and a delicate bouquet of vanilla, surrounded by enveloping scents of elderflower. On the palate, the wine reveals itself to be smooth, with the right degree of sapidity, and a mineral touch that completes the sensory experience. Nosiola is the perfect partner to enhance the tasty and fatty flesh of fish. River and lake fish in their many variations. A tasting that brings the consumer closer to the beauty of the Valle dei Laghi with every sip.
