Vinification
Fermentation of the slightly dried grapes in steel tanks at controlled temperature
Ageing
Ripasso technique for about 30 days, aged in French Allier and Troncais oak barrels for about 18 months, followed by bottle ageing for 3-5 months.

Ruby red with violet reflection
Taste
Full-bodied and rounded tannin, spicy with a hint of black pepper and nutmeg, balsamic, lingering finish with notes of cherry and almondy dried fruit
