Description
The three-bottle case 'Lecci e Brocchi' tells the story of the Tuscany region through three fresh, elegant and drinkable wines: Meticcio Rosato, Sangiò Bianco and Chianti Classico.
Meticcio is a charming and eclectic rosé, created from a blend of native and international varieties - including Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera, Ciliegiolo and Alicante - vinified in white. Fresh, mineral and versatile, it is perfect as an aperitif or with fish and white meat dishes.
Sangiò, described as 'a white Sangiovese in the land of great reds', is a white wine with surprising character, vinified partly in stainless steel and partly in barriques. It is distinguished by its aromatic complexity and a savoury, harmonious palate, ideal with fresh cheeses and delicate dishes.
Chianti Classico is the most authentic expression of the territory, combining Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera in a balanced and vibrant red. It has aromas of red fruits and wildflowers, offering softness, freshness and a pleasant persistence on the palate.

Sangiovese "Sangiò" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
Lecci e Brocchi's white Sangiovese is a wine with character, unique and defined as "a white Sangiovese in the land of great reds". It was born from the original idea of solving the challenge posed by the lack of white grape varieties suitable for the production of still wines in their vineyards, and of satisfying the demands of customers who wanted to enjoy a quality white wine. This is how the Sangiò label was born, a white wine made from red grapes, the queen of Tuscany, with an agile and easily recognisable structure, fresh and harmonious, rich in aromatic components, not afraid to evolve in the cellar. The grapes are grown in vineyards close to the winery, in the area of Villa a Sesta, in the beautiful countryside near the city of Siena. The harvest is carried out manually, with care and attention to the berries, between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the Sangiovese grapes are fully ripe. The vinification of Sangiò is a very complex process. 70% of the must obtained from the soft, cold pressing of the Sangiovese grapes undergoes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 30% ferments in new, medium-toasted barriques, where the malolactic fermentation also takes place. After about 6 months of aging on the fine lees in their respective fermentation tanks, the two Sangiovese are blended before bottling and marketing. The result is a wine with an intense aroma, with an important structure for a white wine, full-bodied, with savoury notes on the fresh finish and good persistence. The bouquet has a great aromatic richness, with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit and floral nuances intertwined with elegance and verve. Sangiò goes well with all types of fish, fresh cheeses and white meats. Its complexity and versatility make it an excellent choice for the most refined culinary occasions.Read More

"Meticcio" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
The rosé wine 'Meticcio' from Lecci e Brocchi is a fascinating and eclectic blend of native and non-native varieties, hence the name 'Meticcio', vinified in white, a technique that makes it possible to obtain a rosé wine. Among these black berry varieties, Canaiolo nero, Malvasia nera, Ciliegiolo and Alicante stand out. A very expressive label, with a dynamic and fresh drink, accompanied by the right acidity in the finish, ideal for various gastronomic occasions. The grapes come from various plots of land, but all in the area of Villa a Sesta, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, where the winery is located at about 420 metres above sea level. Harvesting takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the grapes for this blend have reached full phenolic and technological ripeness, i.e. when the berries have reached the right ratio of sugars and acids on the one hand, and the right anthocyanin and tannin content on the other. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are pressed immediately after destemming and the must is immediately transferred to the fermentation vats, without any period of maceration on the skins to avoid excessive colour extraction from the skins. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 18°C for about 20 days. "Meticcio has a pale pink colour with ruby highlights. On the nose, the aromas of fruit and flowers are clear, alternating with elegance and harmony, accompanied by light mineral tones. On the palate, the remarkable body and the right acidity give the wine a pleasant and fresh character. This versatile rosé can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with first and second courses based on fish and white meats.Read More

Chianti Classico Lecci e Brocchi
Description
The Lecci e Brocchi Chianti Classico is an eloquent example of great expression and appreciation of the territory. Now run by Sabrina and Giancarlo with the help of their son, the winery is in the process of converting to organic farming and is characterised by its traditional, genuine character and exemplary craftsmanship, much appreciated by the public. Sangiovese, the most widely grown grape variety in Tuscany, is blended with Canaiolo nero, an indigenous grape variety found in the Chianti Classico area, and Malvasia nera to produce a dynamic and expressive red wine with a strong and pleasant fruit. The vineyards are located near the winery, in Villa a Sesta, within the Chianti Classico appellation, at an altitude of 420 metres above sea level. Harvesting is done by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the grapes are at the right stage of ripeness. In the cellar, the grapes are carefully selected and gently destemmed before alcoholic fermentation with the must remaining in contact with the skins for about 20 days. The wine is then aged in cement vats for about 18 months, during which it undergoes malolactic fermentation, a bacterial fermentation that consumes the malic acid and produces lactic acid, which makes the wine softer and rounder. This wine has an intense and very bright ruby red colour. The nose is intense and fruity, with a predominance of red berries such as raspberries, blackcurrants and forest fruits. On the palate, Chianti Classico stands out for its softness and suppleness, its balance and crisp freshness, which lingers on the palate for a satisfying sensory experience. It is an excellent accompaniment to all red meats and goes well with fresh and semi-cured cheeses.Read More
