Description
The three-bottle case "Anime piemontesi" combines three intriguing Roero labels from the historic Deltetto family: wines that combine tradition, character and immediacy.
San Michele Roero Arneis: a fragrant and harmonious white wine, born on sandy and marl soils, the result of the family's dedication since the days of young Antonio in 1977. Enveloping aromas of exotic fruits and apple combine with sweet vanilla accents. On the palate it offers roundness, freshness and an elegant structure capable of ageing gracefully.
I Lioni Nebbiolo: a 'younger' red in the tradition of great Piedmontese wines. With aromas of violets, spices and red fruits, it emerges with finesse and lightness compared to more important reds. The palate is elegant and fresh, with velvety tannins and a persistent finish, perfect for serving by the glass.
Bramé 100% Barbera: born in the hills of the Roncaglia MGA, with manual harvesting and artisanal vinification. Generous aromas of cherry and black cherry, with spicy notes that anticipate a juicy and vibrant palate. It is a red wine with a strong character but immediate drinkability, with well-supported acidity and a long, fresh finish.

Roero Arneis "San Michele" Deltetto
Description
Roero Arneis San Michele is a journey through time and the history of the Deltetto family, which began in 1977 when young Antonio, inspired by his father Carlo, began to produce his first 933 bottles. From the very beginning, the Deltetto family has devoted itself with love and dedication to the cultivation of Arneis. The result is a fragrant and harmonious wine, pleasantly fruity, crisp on the palate and with the right fullness of mouthfeel, a label that does not fear ageing, if properly stored, it will be possible to uncork it even in a few years! The grapes make the most of the unique potential of the sandy and marly soil that characterises this area of marine origin, which has made Arneis a real benchmark for the Roero. To be more precise, the vineyard is located on the hills of San Michele, from which the wine takes its name, not far from the family's winery, and it keeps the secret of an extraordinary wine, a faithful interpreter of the territory. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and in the cellar the winery's approach is to search for finesse and the authentic expression of the grape variety. The vinification process begins with the destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by soft pressing; the must obtained is fermented partly in cement vats at a temperature of 16°C and partly in French oak barrels. The resulting wine is aged in steel tanks and French oak barrels for about 6 months. Further bottle ageing follows before release. The Arneis San Michele from the Deltetto family has a deep straw-yellow colour in the glass, with aromas of exotic fruits in harmony with vibrant apple notes, accompanied by sweet vanilla aromas from the wood. The sip is full and round, with a fine structure, elegance and personality, with a persistent finish. These characteristics make Arneis a versatile companion, ideal as an aperitif, elegant with hors d'oeuvres and first courses, and the star of any table.Read More

Barbera "Bramé" Deltetto
Description
The Bramé red wine from the Deltetto winery is made from one of the most popular grape varieties in Piedmont, the pure Barbera. This label combines structure and elegance in one, the sip is enveloping and juicy from the first taste and notes of red fruits delight the nose. Its characteristics give rise to the name "Bramé", a Piedmontese term for the desire and longing that is aroused when it is tasted. The Barbera vineyard is located in the Castellinaldo area, more precisely in the Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva (MGA) Roncaglia, a term that highlights and specifies the origin of the grapes within a DOC zone. We are situated at an altitude of between 250 and 300 metres, on soils that are mainly sandy and clayey, where the 15-year-old vines are cultivated organically, with natural fertilisation and without the use of herbicides. The grapes are harvested by hand, with careful selection of the best bunches. The must ferments on the skins for about 10 days, then the wine rests in oak barrels for 12 months, during which time the malolactic fermentation takes place; after bottling, the wine is further refined in the bottle. Bramé has an intense ruby red colour and a bouquet of ripe cherries and sour cherries with spicy notes. On the palate, it offers an extraordinary combination of structure and elegance, supported by the typical Barbera acidity, which gives a long, fresh finish. We recommend it with first courses with meat or cheese sauces, as well as with main courses. Its versatility also makes it ideal for serving by the glass.Read More

Nebbiolo "I Lioni" Deltetto
Description
The red wine I Lioni, is the label dedicated to the name of the Deltetto family and to the small hamlet of the same name, where the old family farm was located and where the first bottles of Nebbiolo and Barbera were produced at the end of the 19th century. I Lioni is an interesting version of the most famous Piedmontese grape, in purity that expresses freshness and liveliness, the nose is pleasantly fruity, with fine integrated tannins, less structured than its older brother Barolo, this line is pleasant even at a young age. The Nebbiolo grapes come from a vineyard in the Canale area, in the hamlet of I Lioni, near the winery, at an altitude of between 250 and 300 metres above sea level, where the soil is mainly sand and clay of alluvial origin. The vines are relatively young, around 15 years old, and are cultivated using organic methods in the name of sustainability. After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts; the must is left to macerate on the skins for about 10 days. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 12 months, during which it undergoes malolactic fermentation. In the glass, Nebbiolo I Lioni has a pale ruby red colour and a frank and direct bouquet with notes of violets, spices and juicy red fruits. Elegant and fresh on the palate, it is enveloped by velvety, well-integrated tannins with a persistent finish. On the table, it goes well with pasta dishes, meat specialities and mature cheeses.Read More
