Description

Murva's Corvatis is a Sauvignon Blanc wine, like Teolis, a wine that can be defined as natural, thanks to a wine-making process that respects the environment and biodiversity. It is a wine that perfectly reflects the characteristics of this grape variety in Friuli: rich on the nose, with hints of thyme and sage that blend harmoniously with citrus and fruity notes. Warm and savoury on the palate, pleasantly balsamic, with a balanced and persistent finish. This wine comes from a vineyard located in the municipality of Mariano, where the soil is red, with a predominantly ferrous matrix, composed mainly of dolomitic limestone, with a medium texture. The plot is one of the driest, with the least rainfall. The vines are trained in the Guyot system, with a yield of 70 quintals per hectare. The vinification process begins with cold maceration, the must is kept in contact with the skins at a low temperature, the duration of maceration can vary according to the vintage, but it generally lasts a maximum of one night; fermentation then begins, also at a low temperature of around 15°C. After fermentation, the wine matures on its fine lees in steel tanks for 10-11 months to preserve its freshness and complexity. In the glass, it is crystal clear with a straw-yellow colour and offers a refined and captivating sensory experience".
