Description
The 'Sangiovese' three-bottle case from Cantina Lecci e Brocchi contains three distinctive wines: Sangiò, Argento Vivo and Chianti Classico.
Sangiò is a Sangiovese vinified in white, 'a white Sangiovese in the land of great reds'. Born from the idea of creating a white wine from red grapes, it ferments 70% in stainless steel and 30% in barriques, ageing on fine lees for six months. Fresh, harmonious and rich in aromas of yellow fruit and flowers, it pairs perfectly with fish, fresh cheeses and white meats.
Argento Vivo is a pure Sangiovese of great elegance. Vinified in stainless steel with long maceration and aged for 12 months in tonneaux, it is distinguished by its deep ruby colour, intense aromas and a full, full-bodied and persistent taste. Ideal with red meats, game and mature cheeses.
Chianti Classico combines Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera. Aged for 18 months in concrete, it offers a fresh and fruity profile with notes of raspberries and currants. Smooth and easy to drink, it is perfect with red meat and Tuscan cheeses.

Sangiovese "Sangiò" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
Lecci e Brocchi's white Sangiovese is a wine with character, unique and defined as "a white Sangiovese in the land of great reds". It was born from the original idea of solving the challenge posed by the lack of white grape varieties suitable for the production of still wines in their vineyards, and of satisfying the demands of customers who wanted to enjoy a quality white wine. This is how the Sangiò label was born, a white wine made from red grapes, the queen of Tuscany, with an agile and easily recognisable structure, fresh and harmonious, rich in aromatic components, not afraid to evolve in the cellar. The grapes are grown in vineyards close to the winery, in the area of Villa a Sesta, in the beautiful countryside near the city of Siena. The harvest is carried out manually, with care and attention to the berries, between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the Sangiovese grapes are fully ripe. The vinification of Sangiò is a very complex process. 70% of the must obtained from the soft, cold pressing of the Sangiovese grapes undergoes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 30% ferments in new, medium-toasted barriques, where the malolactic fermentation also takes place. After about 6 months of aging on the fine lees in their respective fermentation tanks, the two Sangiovese are blended before bottling and marketing. The result is a wine with an intense aroma, with an important structure for a white wine, full-bodied, with savoury notes on the fresh finish and good persistence. The bouquet has a great aromatic richness, with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit and floral nuances intertwined with elegance and verve. Sangiò goes well with all types of fish, fresh cheeses and white meats. Its complexity and versatility make it an excellent choice for the most refined culinary occasions.Read More

Sangiovese "Argento Vivo" Lecci e Brocchi
Description
Argento Vivo from Lecci e Brocchi is a prestigious red wine that will easily win over fans of the enchanting region of Tuscany. Dedicated to lovers of pure Sangiovese, this limited production wine offers a rich and seductive tasting experience, with complex aromas and decisive flavours that are never ordinary. This wine is made from pure Sangiovese grapes grown in the Siena area, among the gentle hills of very rare composition, covered with vineyards and olive groves, at an altitude of about 420 metres above sea level. Harvesting takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the grapes reach full phenolic and technological maturity. Vinification of this characteristic red wine takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. During the alcoholic fermentation, the must undergoes maceration in direct contact with the skins for about 20 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in cement vats and is aged for 12 months in second passage tonneaux. This wine has a deep ruby red colour with light garnet reflections that appear with ageing. The bouquet is intense and persistent, with notes of fruity and spicy jams, enriched by tertiary nuances due to the time spent in oak. On the palate, the richness and softness of the first sip are enhanced by a full-bodied taste, with integrated tannins and a pronounced spiciness that lingers on the finish. Argento Vivo is the perfect accompaniment for all tasty first courses and red meats, including game, both roasted and braised. It is also excellent with a selection of seasoned cheeses.Read More

Chianti Classico Lecci e Brocchi
Description
The Lecci e Brocchi Chianti Classico is an eloquent example of great expression and appreciation of the territory. Now run by Sabrina and Giancarlo with the help of their son, the winery is in the process of converting to organic farming and is characterised by its traditional, genuine character and exemplary craftsmanship, much appreciated by the public. Sangiovese, the most widely grown grape variety in Tuscany, is blended with Canaiolo nero, an indigenous grape variety found in the Chianti Classico area, and Malvasia nera to produce a dynamic and expressive red wine with a strong and pleasant fruit. The vineyards are located near the winery, in Villa a Sesta, within the Chianti Classico appellation, at an altitude of 420 metres above sea level. Harvesting is done by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October, when the grapes are at the right stage of ripeness. In the cellar, the grapes are carefully selected and gently destemmed before alcoholic fermentation with the must remaining in contact with the skins for about 20 days. The wine is then aged in cement vats for about 18 months, during which it undergoes malolactic fermentation, a bacterial fermentation that consumes the malic acid and produces lactic acid, which makes the wine softer and rounder. This wine has an intense and very bright ruby red colour. The nose is intense and fruity, with a predominance of red berries such as raspberries, blackcurrants and forest fruits. On the palate, Chianti Classico stands out for its softness and suppleness, its balance and crisp freshness, which lingers on the palate for a satisfying sensory experience. It is an excellent accompaniment to all red meats and goes well with fresh and semi-cured cheeses.Read More
