Description

The purchase of Cascina Belmonte's Naturae wines not only pleases the palate, but also contributes to the funding of the farm's Nature Plan, a company project aimed at promoting biodiversity and supporting environmentally friendly agriculture. A commitment that has resulted in the planting of a zero-impact vineyard on ancient terraces, using new disease-resistant varieties that have become very popular in recent years due to their cultivation, which reduces the use of sanitary treatments. There will also be a butterfly garden and a woodland pond to encourage the reproduction of amphibians. The vines are cultivated on clay soil using the Guyot training system, with a controlled yield of 75 quintals per hectare. The grapes are destemmed and crushed, and the must is left to macerate on the skins for about 12 hours, followed by fermentation with selected yeasts without filtration. The wine is then aged for 5 months in stainless steel followed by one month in the bottle. Naturae presents itself with a citrus bouquet enriched with typical yeast notes. On the palate, it offers plenty of freshness with pleasant balsamic hints and a dry, lively finish. Notes of yeast, toasted bread and freshness give the wine a complex and compelling profile. Perfect with dishes such as risotto with herbs, fresh cheeses and vegetarian cuisine, Naturae is also an ideal companion for barbecue lovers, proving to be a thirst-quenching and satisfying drink.
