Description

The brut sparkling wine 'Art' Metodo Classico Blanc de Blancs from the De Vigili winery is the result of pure Chardonnay grapes. This oenological project represents the encounter between the world of wine, beauty and culture, conceived to exalt the highest manifestations of art and territory. It presents itself as a refined scenario, an elegant canvas ready to be painted with imagination, creating a unique and captivating wine experience. ART is the essence of Trentodoc, a mountain bubble of elegance and finesse. Fragrant aromas of golden apples blend harmoniously with delicate notes of yeast, inviting you to take a sip that is light on the palate and finishes with a satisfying freshness. The Chardonnay grapes come from the Collina dei Sorni in Lavis, where the vines grow in an environment that is very favourable to this variety, thanks to the presence of limestone, a privileged exposure and a favourable altitude. The Chardonnay grown in this particular terroir is at the heart of this exceptional wine. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, are cultivated with care and tradition, avoiding the use of chemicals and herbicides and limiting the use of machinery to what is strictly necessary, in order to promote quality and respect for each individual plot. The production process begins with the manual harvesting of the grapes, which are taken directly to the press. The pressing is gentle and only the first pressing must is used. The base wine ferments and matures in stainless steel until the following spring, when it is racked. After racking, ART remains on the lees for at least 36 months, a period that helps to develop complexity and character. After disgorgement, the spumante remains in the bottle for at least 6 months, ready to conquer the palates of connoisseurs. In the glass, Spumante Brut Art presents itself with a straw-yellow colour, enriched by brilliant reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. To the nose, it reveals elegant aromas of bread crust, ripe fruit and dried fruit, all complemented by a mineral and satisfying finish. The palate is full and structured, with a fresh finish that fully expresses the elegance and complexity of this exceptional sparkling wine. Its pleasant acidity and fullness make it ideal as an aperitif and with light dishes such as fish and white meats.
