Description

The 'Sangiovese' three-bottle case allows you to discover the variety that symbolises Tuscany, with the wines that symbolise the Begnardi winery: Pigna Rossa, Ceneo and Montecucco Rosso.

Pigna Rossa was inspired by a discovery in the vineyard: a stone engraved with the negative image of a pine cone, hence the name. The wine, made from Sangiovese grapes, is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and expresses notes of ripe red fruit, spices, vanilla and coffee, with a full body and predisposition for ageing.

Ceneo is a wine of great balance, made from selected grapes and carefully vinified in stainless steel. Its ruby red colour and aromas of plum, cherry, raspberry and violet blend with a surprising minerality. The palate is fresh, savoury and velvety, with a long and persistent finish.

Montecucco Rosso reflects the frank and generous character of the Tuscan hills: intense ruby red, aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violet, and a strong but refined taste, where softness meets a vital energy that makes it authentic and unforgettable.
