Description

The Roverello Bianco of Zanovello Selections, a refined white wine obtained from the union of three excellences: Chardonnay, enriched with a touch of Manzoni Bianco and Moscato. Chardonnay grows on poor soils where the rhyolitic rock, under the tenacity of the oak roots, dissolves into sand, gravel and clay. We are located at 250 metres above sea level, in the village of Roverello, hence the name of the wine. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, in wood and cement. After two years of patient ageing in large oak barrels to bring out the buttery and tropical fruit aromas that characterise Chardonnay, the wine is ready for bottling. The Roverello is characterised by the warm and exotic aromas of the Chardonnay, which blend harmoniously with the minerality of the Manzoni Bianco. A touch of Muscat further enriches the bouquet, giving the wine the right aromatic finesse and fullness. An elegant and long-lasting white wine that invites you to taste it again and again. This white wine is the perfect accompaniment to freshwater fish, mushroom risotto and egg pasta. The Roverello is not afraid of demanding combinations, such as recipes with truffles or artichokes.
