Three bottle pack “Alba”

The "Alba" three-bottle case from the Giuseppe Bordone winery offers three red wines from Piedmont: Roero "Curs", Nebbiolo d'Alba "Vatepe" and Barbera d'Alba "Sarnia".

Roero "Curs", one of the winery's flagship wines, is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on calcareous-clayey and sandy soils in the "Corso" hillside. After fermentation in stainless steel, it is aged for three years in Slavonian oak. Ruby red in colour with orange reflections, it expresses aromas of spices, undergrowth and red fruit jam. On the palate it is full, harmonious and persistent, ideal with pork and moments of relaxation.

Nebbiolo d'Alba "Vatepe", from the "Valteppe" hill in the municipality of Montà, fermented in stainless steel and ages for twelve months in Slavonian oak. Ruby red with garnet reflections, it offers aromas of rose, currant and black pepper. The taste is dry, fresh and tannic, perfect with meat or mushroom first courses and structured main courses.

 Barbera d'Alba "Sarnia", made from 100% Barbera grapes, is aged for twelve months in French oak barriques. Intense ruby red in colour, it offers notes of plum, blackberry and black cherry with spicy accents. Soft, fresh and harmonious, it accompanies flavourful meats and mature cheeses.
