Fontefico is an organic farm dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of native vines on the Costa dei Trabocchi, on the Gulf of Vasto, in the beautiful countryside of the southernmost part of Abruzzo. Here, the vineyards of Pecorino, Trebbiano and Montepulciano are kissed by the constant salty breeze of the Adriatic Sea, giving Fontefico's wines an extraordinary taste and minerality. Each wine produced comes from a single vineyard, each with its own unique identity.

Our Pecorino Superiore is known as "the rogue", because the vineyard is known for its capricious and rebellious nature, which resists all attempts at domination, but ultimately produces a superlative wine that cannot go unnoticed.

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is called "the bearer of respect" because, despite its troubled history, in which it has often been exploited solely for its high productivity, when treated with love and respect it is capable of expressing the beauty and authenticity of its land in a unique and fascinating way.

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the "cocca di casa" because it remains the favourite and proudest grape of this region. Each vineyard, and therefore each wine, has its own unmistakable personality, which is presented differently on the label for each vintage, telling a unique anecdote of that particular vintage and the authentic history of Fontefico. A story that speaks of territory, tradition and authenticity, inscribed in the wines.
